What water goes in the tank?

First Tank verdict. Aquarist freshwater: Australian tap is fine after conditioner. Living Oceans marine: tap is only the base. You add salt to a set salinity.

Living Oceans source: water-change training (filtered tap, conditioner, salt to 35 ppt / 1.024, 24°C). Aquarist source: dechlorinate chloramine, match your city’s hardness to the fish.
